Dedicated Account Management:
​Your M.O.V.E. account manager is available throughout your SkillBridge journey to answer questions, provide guidance, and help navigate the process from inquiry to program approval.
Employer Education:
We work directly with employers to help them understand the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program and what is required to successfully host a participant.
SkillBridge Coordination:
Once an employer expresses interest, we help coordinate the SkillBridge process, answer questions, and assist with the required program documentation.

Who is eligible for SkillBridge?
Eligible active-duty service members who receive approval through their command and meet Department of Defense SkillBridge requirements may participate.

When should I start the process?
We recommend beginning your SkillBridge planning as early as possible. Early planning provides more time to explore opportunities, prepare application materials, and coordinate your transition. But applying for employment should not start till you enter your D-120 period.

What industries do you support?
If you receive an offer from an employer willing to participate in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, M.O.V.E. can help coordinate the opportunity. We support SkillBridge opportunities across a wide range of industries and career fields. Even if an employer has never participated in SkillBridge before, we'll work with you and the employer to help establish a SkillBridge opportunity whenever possible.

Yes. Applying to multiple opportunities may increase your chances of finding a SkillBridge opportunity that aligns with your goals and transition timeline.

Does M.O.V.E. find a SkillBridge opportunity for me?
M.O.V.E. provides guidance, connections, and SkillBridge coordination throughout the process. Service members are responsible for exploring opportunities, submitting applications, and participating in employer interviews.

​Who makes the hiring decision?
Each employer independently determines who they interview and select for their SkillBridge opportunities.

What happens after an employer is interested?
Once an employer expresses interest in moving forward, M.O.V.E. works with you and the employer to help coordinate the remaining SkillBridge process and required documentation.

Can M.O.V.E. help an employer who has never participated in SkillBridge?
Yes. We work with employers to help them better understand the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program and assist them throughout the coordination process.
